LAZYDAYS is owned and run by Avril & Philip Wooster who have a long history of owning, breeding and working with horses. Avril managed a large livery yard on the outskirts of London for many years, also owned a riding school. Philip and Avril had a livery yard in Hertfordshire and also bred Arabian horses which Avril trained and raced. Phil has past experience of working with shire horses and showing them. Since moving to Devon we have bred cattle and still breed Boer goats which graze alongside the horses and ponies. This works well as the goats eat what the horse won't and keep the grazing perfect.
All horses and ponies are treated as if our own and cared for in a quiet, calm loving environment. We do not have any other liveries so there is not the hustle and bustle of a livery yard......just peace, quiet and contentment.
LAZYDAYS is set in 54 acres of stunning, quiet Devon countryside where we make all our own hay. The horses and ponies are grazed in herd groups. We do not use electric fencing and if prone to laminitis a suitable field is always available to ensure no lush grass.
LAZYDAYS is here for your horse or pony right to the last and we will not waver in our our love and respect for them.
